Difference between Coriolis Mass Flow Meter and the Volumetric Flow Meters

Compared to this, For the Volumetric Flow Meters:

1. We could randomly say that all the other types of flow meters except the Coriolis mass flow meters belong to the Volumetric Flow Meters, including the Thermal Mass Flow Meters, Turbine Flow Meters, Electromagnetic Flow Meters, Vortex Flow Meters, Rotameters, etc.

2. The Volumetric Flow Meters will directly measure the "Volume " of the measured medium. The "Volume" of the medium WILL BE affected by the factors of  temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, etc.

3. The measurement of the Volumetric Flow Meters WILL BE influenced by the factors of temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, etc. And the compensation calculation IS REQUIRED.

4. The accuracy of the Volumetric Flow Meters is said to be reached by ±0.5%, ±1%. While, the actual accuracy is hard to reach the promised level of accuracy. Because the accuracy will be influenced by factors of temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, etc.

Why choosing the Coriolis Mass Flow Meters?

For the Coriolis Mass Flow meters:

1. The measuring principle of the Coriolis Mass Flow Meter is the Coriolis Force principle. The Coriolis mass flow meter will directly measure the "Mass " of the measured medium. The "Mass" of the medium will NOT be affected by the factors of  temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, etc.

2. The measurement of the Coriolis Mass meters will NOT be influenced by the factors of temperature, pressure, density, viscosity, etc. And the compensation calculation is NOT required.

3. The accuracy of the Coriolis Mass Flow Meters is ±0.1%, ±0.15%,  ±0.2% optional. The accuracy will NOT be influenced by the factors mentioned above.
